Quality Mechanical Services (QMS) was selected to provide the complete mechanical construction package for the Skaneateles Lodge Hotel, a premier hospitality destination located in Skaneateles, New York. This large-scale project required the installation of sophisticated HVAC, hydronic, ventilation, and snow melt systems designed to provide exceptional guest comfort, energy efficiency, and year-round operational reliability. QMS’s scope included the installation of heat pumps, energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), cooling towers, high-efficiency boilers, hydronic pumps, direct-fired make-up air systems, unit heaters, cabinet heaters, kitchen exhaust systems with grease duct, temperature controls, and complete air distribution systems throughout the facility. The project also incorporated extensive hydronic piping and mechanical infrastructure to support guest rooms, common areas, back-of-house operations, and hospitality amenities. A standout feature of the project was the installation of a large-scale snow melt system designed to maintain safe and accessible exterior spaces throughout the winter months. The system was expanded to include an additional 7,500-square-foot snow melt zone serving the outdoor pool area and required upgraded pumps, heat exchangers, expansion tanks, air separation equipment, and variable frequency drives to support the increased load. Through detailed coordination, engineering collaboration, and quality craftsmanship, QMS delivered a comprehensive mechanical solution that supports the luxury guest experience while providing long-term performance, reliability, and energy efficiency.
