Quality Mechanical Services (QMS) was selected to design and install a high-performance vehicle exhaust extraction system for JC Smith Inc. in Syracuse, New York. The project was developed to improve workplace safety, enhance air quality, and provide reliable removal of vehicle exhaust emissions from the service bay environment. QMS furnished and installed a 1,222 CFM exhaust system featuring a 3 HP exhaust fan, wall-mounted control station, duct distribution serving four service bays, stainless steel tailpipe adapters, high-temperature exhaust hoses, and a zero-loss stack head designed to maximize system efficiency and exhaust capture performance. The system was engineered to provide dependable source-capture exhaust removal directly from vehicles operating within the facility, helping create a cleaner and safer work environment for technicians while reducing the accumulation of harmful exhaust gases within the building. Through careful planning, quality craftsmanship, and a focus on long-term reliability, QMS delivered a turnkey exhaust extraction solution that supports employee safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance for this active service facility.
