Green Hills Farms

Quality Mechanical Services (QMS) was selected to provide refrigeration and mechanical construction services for a new walk-in cooler expansion at Green Hills Farms in Nedrow, New York. This project was designed to support the facility’s growing deli operations by increasing refrigerated storage capacity while maintaining reliable temperature control and product quality. QMS furnished and installed a custom walk-in cooler measuring approximately 25 feet wide by 14.5 feet deep with an 8-foot ceiling height. The project included the installation of a new double swing cooler door with integrated viewing windows, interior lighting systems, and two evaporator coils connected to the facility’s existing refrigeration rack system. Careful coordination was required to integrate the new refrigeration equipment into the existing infrastructure while maintaining operational continuity within the active grocery environment. The completed system provides dependable temperature control, improved product storage capabilities, and enhanced operational efficiency for deli operations. This project showcases QMS’s expertise in commercial refrigeration, walk-in cooler construction, and food service facility upgrades, delivering reliable cold storage solutions that support product freshness, food safety, and long-term operational success.
