Cornell Hendricks Hall
Quality Mechanical Services (QMS) was selected to provide HVAC renovations as part of the Hendrick Hall Elevator Reconstruction project at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. This project supported critical infrastructure improvements within the facility while ensuring the elevator and penthouse spaces remained properly conditioned and operational. QMS’s scope included the demolition and removal of existing HVAC ductwork, piping, and mechanical equipment serving the penthouse area, followed by the installation of a new split-system cooling solution designed to provide reliable temperature control for the renovated spaces. The project also included installation of refrigerant piping, condensate drainage systems, equipment supports, and associated mechanical infrastructure required to support the new cooling system. Working within an active university environment required detailed coordination, careful scheduling, and adherence to campus construction standards. QMS collaborated closely with project stakeholders to ensure the new mechanical systems were seamlessly integrated into the existing facility while supporting the overall modernization of the building infrastructure. The Hendrick Hall Elevator Reconstruction project highlights QMS’s expertise in higher education facilities, HVAC renovations, and institutional construction. Through quality craftsmanship and precise execution, QMS delivered a dependable cooling solution that supports long-term building performance and occupant comfort within one of the nation’s premier university campuses.
